No frills Pepaid Card
Tune Money Sdn Bhd, a company founded by Air Liner, Tony Fernandes will launch a debit card (or what most Malaysian likes to call “prepaid credit card”). The company has already become a member of the global payment card company –Visa. So, their prepaid cards can be used at any and all locations that accept Visa.
They will issue standard Tune Money Prepaid Visa as well as Co-Branded Cards with selected partners.
As a Malaysian myself, I would say that this is definitely a great move as a great majority of Malaysian consumer is a non-card holder. This causes them to miss huge opportunities of amazing deals online.
Well, I guess, not anymore :)
